A Vintage Inspired Tea Party

Maybe some of you other crafty, business owner moms out there can relate to this: yes, I own my own business of making hair accessories, but it seems like my own daughter never has anything to wear in her hair because I am too busy making things for other little girls {big sigh.}
For her Fourth Birthday Party I wanted to make sure that she had a day as special as she is. She loves tea parties, pink, and of course princess everything...

It was such a fun day and I truly think she had such a good time! I will be blogging about the details over the next few weeks, so stay tuned for some tutorials!

Serious Cuteness Alert!!

First off, I am so embarrassed to say that this is the first post of 2012, so Happy New Year! (Even if it is the third of March..)

You may remember this cutie from my last blog post. Her mom came up with the ideas for her nine-month pictures and it was so much fun creating these  custom looks for her. I know I've said it before, but I really do love working with my clients creating custom looks--from photographers to moms, to grandmas. If there is something in mind that you would like, but don't see it in my shop use the Contact tab to send me an email of some of your ideas. Be Inspired

If I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times before. You drive and inspire me to create. Really, you do. Thanks to Jen and so many of you who have pushed me out of my comfort zone and in the end came up with something we both loved.

Today this pic showed up in my news feed from Kim Hinkle Photography and I thought to myself  "Why didn't I think of that?!"  Kim simply combined the Hippie Chic Headband and Helen Brooch to create a personal unique look. It looks adorable and it's so fun to see you all create something that is simply your own style.

A Vintage Photo Shoot {Teresa Haller Photography}

For our recent Fall Photo Shoot with Sugarbug Boutique,  Teresa Haller Photography and clothing provided by The Lollipop Tree, Teresa did a fantastic job accessorizing the shoot. The vintage finds such as the antique sewing drawers, suitcases, buttons, and cameras went so well with the Persnickety clothing and the shabby chic accessories.

I love the no sew burlap bunting. How fun would that be for a Fall party? Just leave plain or stencil 'Boo' or 'Fall' for a fast & easy diy {my favorite kind!}
